How can I make a bike dog carrier for my dog. She weighs 19-20 lbs. I would prefer her to ride behind me. Than?

i would like to get a bicycle witha rear seat for me and my son… what type pf bike would i need or would e best… i dont want to know brand and model types etc but just wether i shouldget a mountain bike etc …. thanks
I am moving to a place with sidewalks and easier access to places to jog and walk (safetly) and I wanted to start doing that. I have a three and a half year old who can not be trusted to walk or jog with me and I want to be able to take him with me. I thought a jogging stroller would be a good idea but all of them I have found said a weight limit of 40 to 50 pounds (he is only 33) but a height of no more then 38 in. (he is 38.5) Now most of them look like they would hold a bigger child then 38 in, but does any one know if they really will? I was thinking of getting a bike trailer that doubles as a stroller but honestly think I’d get more use out of just the stoller as I’m not much of a bike rider. Also if you know of a good (not to pricey but not really cheap) brand that you think might work for me please let me know.
Thank you for the baby jogger idea. I may go with that. My son is very active and he does a lot of running most of the day but likes to explore the most when I want to do real walking/jogging. (hence the reason for the stroller).
i cannot find a 3 bike roof rack anywhere, the maximum i could find is for 2 bikes.
do you know any?
i am willing to pay a high price to have a 3 bike roof carrier….
thanks in advance
p.s i already have a roof bar (two long horizontal metal stripes for those who don’t know) and i’ve checked halfords
I have a Chevy Trailblazer SUV, and I’m thinking about buying a pop-up (folding) camper. We would like to take our bicycles with us when we go camping. I currently use a bike carrier that mounts to my trailer hitch. So – if I connect the camper to my trailer hitch, what’s the best way to haul the bicycles? They don’t fit in the back of the SUV, and I DON’T want to put them on the roof of the SUV. Does the camper have a trailer hitch in the back?
Bike Balance is a multi-function bicycle accessory that will change the way you push, pull and carry things on your bicycle. Bike Balance has created the perfect “Hitch System” for your bike. Many “snap-fit” attachments are now available.
I remember having watched a movie when a was a child (mid eighties). It was all about practical jokes using hidden camera on people, just like the "funny people" movie. One of the sketches was a trailer container fulled with tennis balls and when the mark opened it all the balls escaped… Another one featured about 4 crew members in line just following somebody… Another one was taking a bike and sticking it thorugh a power line pole and seeing the reaction of the owner…
I have a 18-month-old child and would like to take her on rides with me around the neighborhood. Would she (and I) be safer (and happier) with a child seat or a trailer?
Also, what kind of bike is ideal for biking with kids (hybrid, mountain, comfort)? If you would like to give a specific brand and/or model, that would help also.
As rare as my bike is, i just seen a picture of the geico gecko next to his bike…
it’s cool cause i ride with geico..

The Croozer 535 and 737 include everything you need to stroll, jog, and cycle right out of the box. This video shows how to convert your carrier from strolling to jogging to bicycle trailer mode.
She loves the wind, so we like going to the park on a really windy day and I swing her around.
We love going to children’s museums.
I am thinking of getting a bike seat for her and we can go on bike rides. I am so excited!
I was out on my push bike today with my three year old in a trailer when I was accosted by a man berating me for endangering my child. I tried patiently to explain to him that I try to keep to bike paths and have a "buggy whip" flag to warn drivers. Then I noticed he was pretty much overweight and was probably a prime candidate for stroke, heart disease and diabetes, not to mention Alzheimers which afflicts those who don’t exercise more frequently. So is it more dangerous to drive or to use a push bike?
Cleaning out my basement and came across this bizarre metal object. (http://bit.ly/bgpHKK) (it’s a link to picasa). Exercise machine component? Car-mounted bike carrier? Torture device?
I have a Bell Bike Trailer, It has a five point safety harness, and she can hold her head up perfect. My question is is it safe for her to use it yet, and what should i do about a helmet? The smallest I have seen is 3+ years, do they make them smaller? Where can I get one if I need it? All Answers appreciated! THANKS! The back of bike carrier seats are for 12 months and up, but I cant even find a helmet that small, the 3+ is HUGE!

I was 5 when I learned how and my husband said he was 6. But my son who will turn 9 next month just learned how in the past couple of months. Is this kind of late or is it average? He doesn’t have any physical problems that would have prevented him from learning and he’s always had a bike to practice on. Also, now that he’s learned how to ride, and his birthday is next month we are looking at a new bike for him. What size would be right. He is a little small for his age. But I measured him up against a 20" at walmart and he was able to sit on the seat with his feet flat on the ground but a 20" just seems too big.
And just curious, what age did you learn to ride a bike without training wheels?
Just wondering, it seems like most parents think the world should be made of sponges for their child’s safety, but have no problem putting them in one of those enclosed mesh "trailers" that attach to the back of your bike and can be towed along. If they stuck to the park, etc., then fine. BUT I see so many parents riding down fairly busy roads in the bike lane with these things and it just seems so dangerous. It could become attached and baby could fly into traffic (no matter what safety precautions it has), there could be a traffic accident right by you and something could fly off and hit baby, or someone could just plain not see you or be driving poorly and hit you. Why would anyone think it’s safe thing to do ? I would never put my child in one of those and ride into traffic! It just seems like a very bad idea. What’s your opinion?
I meant unattached, oops
