    This is my bike: http://www.raleighusa.com/bikes/cruiser/retroglide-7/

I need one of those child seats to attach to it so my son can ride along.

Here is the problem: He is about 42 lbs– Most of these seats that I’ve seen have a 40 lb max limit.

Please don’t refer me to google…

    Thanks!

    Is she old enough?

With the weather finally warming up and me wanting to loose weight and get in better shape I have found the ultimate motivation lol. I want to buy a bike and a child carrier seat to take my daughter out on bike rides. Now she will be 8 months old on Monday but she can hold her head up steadily she can crawl and even pull her self up with support and she weighs about 18lbs. Is she old enough to ride along with me in a carrier and also would I be able to find a helment small enough to fit her as she still has a soft spot on her head and of course she would need a helmet anyway.

I am 5’4,110lbs,F. Need good, affordable bike for support and comfort, pulling a child trailer.
I was looking at the cheapest women’s bike with Kettler. Then saw some at Target.com. I have tried bikes at Performance and REI, but they seem awful expensive for me at this time. The trailer I just got was 9. I was hoping not to spend more than 0 tops. I’ve been looking on Craigslist, too, but not sure. Bike suggestions?

Instructions for Rhode Gear Bike Carrier?

I got a hand-me-down bike carrier from Rhode Gear, but didn’t get the instructions. Am a little wary of doing it wrong and having the bikes bite the dust on the freeway. Does anyone know where I could get instructions?

Baby child sear or bike trailer?

I love bicycling and now I have a baby. Noah is 8 months old and within the next month or so I’d like to take both bike and baby out and go for a ride.

Anyone have advice for me in regards to child seat for bike or bike trailer? Which one is better, safer? I’m only going to be bicycling on sidewalks and in parks with him on.

    Thanks for you thoughts.
    THANKS FOR YOUR THOUGHTS. :)

I am trying to build a device which would mount on the rear carrier of my 20 inch folding bike, which would generate and store electricity, for anything, within reason that can be plugged in (i.e lamp, computer, stereo etc).
I bike about 10-15 miles a day and I would like to generate some power and $ave on my elecricity bill (I already have solar panels) and create some green power.
So I want to create, in essence, a kinetically generated charger to mount on my bike, which, when I get home, I can plug appliances into.
If such a product already exists where can I get it. If I need to make it from scratch what is my first step?
