A friend just got me the child carrier seat for my bicycle and I need to know where to get a helmet. Thanks!
I have looked at Target, walmart, sports authority and none of them have helmets small enough for her.
I know it is not recommended to take them until they are one year of age however my daughter is walking on her own and I have spoke with her doctor and he thinks she is strong enough for me to take her.
I bought a used child trailer in perfect conditions so i can ride my bike with my baby aboard around my quiet neighborhood but it didn’t bring the instructions to how to set it to where it fits one child only. its a 2 seat carrier but it can be adjusted for one child but i don’t know how to adjust it. It says it can be adjusted but doesn’t say how. Does anyone have one?
i want to start using my bike more, so im wanting to get a bike seat for my 1yo (13kg), has anyone used one, is it hard to ride with so much extra weight, and is the front or the back seat better.. thanks
The CX is part of our X-Country Series and is available as a single or double carrier that is CTS ready for 5 different activities. Stroll, jog, bike, hike and ski with just one carrier.
My daughter is able to sit up on her own, she is 6 months currently. My husband and I do a lot of bike riding in the summer time and we want to continue that this summer. We have been looking for either a child bike seat to attach to the bike or an attachment that pulls behind the bike that is safe for a baby under one. Information would be appreciated.
Most baby bike carriers say that the child must be one year old and not more than a specific weight, but the CoPilot Limo Bicycle Child Seat simply says that you can use the bike carrier with a child up to 40 lbs. So does that mean that I can use the bike carrier with any baby under 40 lbs? I would really love to hear from someone with experience with this product.

Babies uaually gain control about 4 months.
What rooftop carriers that support a bike AND a cargo pod simultaneously? What carrier / cargo pod? The car is a 1999 Cavalier 2DR coupe.
A 1999 cavalier does not have cargo bars.
Please specify the model numbers
"The carrier isn’t the full width, but the slender half width of the car style." is not a valid response.

I’m thinking of getting a child bike trailer (the one attached to a bike that a toddler sits in behind the bike) and just wanted to know if anyone has one and likes it. Our son isn’t 3 yet but is almost 40 pounds so the seat on the bike isn’t going to work b/c they all go up to 40 pounds. Thanks.
My only form of transportation is my bike or the bus.
I now have to bring my son along with me to more places, but I’m unable to find a bike seat for him.
He is four and weighs about 40-42 lbs, but most of the seat’s maximum weight limit is 40 lbs.
The old harness (seat belts) on my baby bike carrier broke. Now I can’t use it because I can’t strap my toddler in anymore. Does anybody know where I can buy a replacement?
Thanks!
I haven’t cycled for years but really need a bike to get around as the local bus route has just stopped running and i live five miles out of town.
My child is 3. I will need to purchase a bike seat for her.
I’ve looked online but advice is very confusing. I definitely don’t want a trailer, but am wondering whether it is safer to ride with a child in a front seat or a rear seat? I know the front seat seems more stable but there are a few problems with this one.
Any advice, especially from personal experience would be very welcome. thanks! xx
by the way i also haven’t got a bike – advice on what type to purchase for a relatively inexperienced rider would be welcome too!
Having looked over the child carriers for bikes they have at K-Mart, Toys-R-Us, and Walmart, we did not find one that exceeded 40lbs limit for a child, and many looked to offer little to no protection head-wise.
